Project New Hope A.C., also known as Niņos
del Sol, is a non-profit organization founded in Venezuela
by a group of young professional men and women committed
to help alleviate the dramatic plight of children and young
people in Caribbean countries.
In this part of the world, sometimes referred
to as an earthly paradise, countless multitude of children
and teenagers are victims of broken homes, violence, drug
abuse, malnutrition, disease and illiteracy. Project New
Hope, A.C. is dedicated to collecting money, medicine, food
and clothing for distribution to organizations that excel
in addressing the urgent plight of these needy youngsters.
Project New Hope A.C. identifies organizations
that meet their criteria of hope-engendering love, proven
efficiency and time-tested results in dealing with these
human beings in need. No sooner than projects are adopted,
Project New Hope A.C. supervises the implementation of the
programs and the conscientious administration of the resources
donated.
At
present Project New Hope A.C. supports programs in the Dominican
Republic and Cuba. In December 2001, PNH conducted a study
of a rehab center for young patients with the HIV/AIDS virus
in Cuba and adopted this project as one of their cherished
tasks. The members of the Board of Directors of this medical
center distinguish themselves for their selfless dedication
to these suffering victims of the AIDS virus. ArtPrima.com
donates an important part of after-tax income to Project
New Hope in the hope of helping alleviate this human drama.
ArtPrima.com also teamed with French Florida Dream (www.french-florida-dream.com),
a French owned tourist and travel agency, to successfully
promote a benefit raffle for the purpose of injecting much
needed help into this worthy cause. |
